I am Gregory Lew, the proud owner and manager of Ace Locksmiths – CALL OUT, a business rooted in family values. Established by my father, Percy Lew, in 1991, our journey began with the opening of our first store in the Northgate Shopping Centre at the intersection of Northumberland Ave and Olievenhout Ave in Roodepoort, which was then classified as Randburg.
My introduction to the locksmith trade commenced at the age of 16 when I started working weekends and during school holidays in our locksmith store. Taking the reins in 2003, I assumed the role of managing the store, and by 2007, I proudly took charge of the entire business.
In 2016, Northgate Shopping Centre underwent a significant renovation, resulting in the termination of our lease, and our space was handed over to Pick n Pay. Adapting to change, we shifted our focus to the Mobile Locksmiths Business, specializing in providing top-notch services to the Randburg and Roodepoort communities.
Having lived and worked in Randburg my entire life, my journey started in Malanshof, then led me to Northwold, Randpark Ridge and finally settled in Boskruin, where I reside to this day. Over the years, I’ve contributed 25 years of dedicated service, initially from Northgate and later from an office/workshop in Bromhof, and now from our current location in Boskruin.
